HISTORICAL BACKGROUND

Ibadan University printing is a division of U.I. Ventures Limited, a company fully owned by the University of Ibadan, Ibadan. Established in 1949, Ibadan University printing was found to print purely educational stationeries and research materials in furtherance of the general aims of the University of Ibadan

This original role was later extended to other higher institutions, Corporate bodies. Printing is now a well organized, expanded and equipped press to serve the public at large.

OUR BUSINESS
The Ibadan University printing now brings some good print touch to the world of commercial printing. When we say “tomorrow” we mean that we have all it takes to complete all aspect of commercial printing. It is a one - stop print house. By this we mean we can
do all for you in one house. From origination, computer to printing, stitching, die cutting, binding, etc

Security  Printing
Prior to re-equipping and relocation to new sight, Ibadan University Printing was Known for top higher institutions and government security print jobs

It was in this wise that we put in place all the requirements for a security print house e.g a well secured wall of over 12th, tinted glasses to avoid snippy look into the press, three point security check for in and out going goods and personnel.

Our Printing is fully staffed with well trained persons for security printing techniques. We can handle all approved security print jobs.

Apart from the quality print, we can originate print that can stand the test of this days frud with our new set of security originastion equipments.

Computer typesetting

Our typesetting room is fully computerized.Our equipments meet all required specification to true ethics of graphic desktop works. Out graphic room is stocked with the latest desktop publishing systems supported by the latest one colour scan, negative and positive film print out in place of paper , separation of monochrome colour after colour proof in our special colour printer. This room is also supported with a high power colour photocopier and fully manned by highly experienced staff.

Publishing
We presently publish a lot of books and the bulk of our publishing jobs is to numerous publishers and users of text books, jounals and the like. It is for this that we acquire a highly state of the Art binder(Baby pong). Since its installation, we have been able to make use of this equipment to play our part in the
world of education support in Nigeria.

Personalized special Cards
Our name rings a bell to a lot of people who patronize our cards, we print special colour and customized cards for various corporate organizations for different occassions. Our cards are so popular in the market that they are called “Imported”

Special Substrate Department
Our special substrate department can print on surface e.g wood, cloth, plastics,stickers, gum paper, ceramics and on equipment and electronics for safety identification

Packaging Work
Our packaging can boast of being a part of history making in promoting a lot of product made in Nigeria and to other ECOWAS countries. We can originate, print and die- cut all packets and cartons to carry any product.

Stationery Manufacturing
We are a part of history making in formulating different modern stationers with security background for both new companies, old companies and government parastatals.
